Currently, Lantic Inc.,(Rogers Sugar) is searching for an outdoor enthusiast as an Agriculturist to join the Agricultural Department at the sugar beet processing facility in Taber, Alberta.

The position is highly mobile, as the Agriculturist provides extension services, crop advisory and agronomic advice and develops and maintains relationships with sugar beet growers in the Taber region. Monitoring sugar beet piles and the hiring and supervision of seasonal employees during harvest are integral position responsibilities.

A farming background is preferred in addition to a Degree or Diploma in agriculture with an emphasis on plant, soil science or biology. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
